Godspell (presented by Ovation Theatre)
We’re excited to invite you to audition for Godspell with Ovation Theatre.
Our vision is to channel the raw energy and playful spirit of the original Broadway production and reimagine it for Christchurch in 2025.
We’re looking for talented singer-actors with strong comedic instincts, who can move confidently and thrive in a collaborative ensemble.
The show will be performed with a live band.

A Note from the Director
Ravil had the rare chance to see the original Broadway cast of Godspell in 1976, and it left a mark. That experience launched a 30+ year performing career.
His mission now? To bring that same wild, joyful, ensemble-based magic to you.
We can’t wait to see what you bring. Let’s create something unforgettable.
