Meggy Perry
Meggie is a performer based in Ōtautahi Christchurch and a 2023 graduate of NASDA, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Theatre. She recently returned from working at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and is currently a proud finalist in the 2025 Miss Canterbury pageant.
While she has a lifelong love for performing on stage, Meggie is equally passionate about the creative work that happens behind the scenes.
Her recent off-stage credits include serving as Creative Assistant for NCMS’s 42nd Street, Hair and Make-up Assistant for Catch Me If You Can, and Backstage Assistant for Ovation’s The Music Man Jr.
On stage, Meggie’s recent performance highlights include Breaking Plates (Ensemble, directed by Ravil Atlas), Chicago (Hunyak, directed by Sara Brodie), Godspell (Ensemble/“By My Side,” directed by Sara Brodie), and Company (Jenny, directed by Cienda McNamara).
Driven by a vision to help create bold, exciting, and accessible theatre, Meggie is thrilled to be part of this production!

Francie Liebert
Francie is currently studying Linguistics, French, and Music at the University of Canterbury, and she is incredibly excited to join the Ovation team for ‘Godspell’.
An accomplished pianist and flautist, Francie has been a regular presence in the pit for recent MUSOC productions, ‘Mise-en-scène’, ‘Legally Blonde’, and ‘Be More Chill’.
